Getting started:

In order to populate the main /view-all-flavours/ page on the website. We need to create a hierarchy in the flavour attribute terms.

Go to : Products > Attributes > Find the "Flavour" Attribute > Click "Configure Terms"

Eg: /wp-admin/edit-tags.php?taxonomy=pa_flavour&post_type=product

Instructions:

This is an example of how you'd group all Apple flavours under the parent flavour "Apple".

  1. On the list of all the different flavours search for "apple"
  2. You will find the "parent" term "Apple" in the list. If you edit this term, you will see that it has a parent called "Fruits" which allows us to build a hierarchy in the flavours, to allow them to be automatically displayed on the /view-all-flavours/ page.
  3. Select all the flavour terms you want to group under the apple parent flavour.
  4. Click to bulk select the whole list if required
  5. From the bulk options dropdown click, "assign parent"
  6. Choose the parent flavour from the list.
  7. Click Apply

You can see an example of the hierarchy we have started to create here:
